Yunnan Pagoda Black Tea is a speciality tea from Yunnan Province of China. Dian Hong, literally "Yunnan Red," refers to the origin and type of tea, while Black Pagoda refers to the kind of tea and its distinctive shape, which resembles a pagoda or tower.
This Dian Hong Black Pagoda has been tied into tower shapes before drying. Each is about 2.5 grams. After the leaves are dried, they retain this shape, but when submerged in water, they open up to form a flower. The Dian Hong Black Pagoda is hand-tied, and the actual tea used to produce it is of very high quality, yielding a cup of tea bursting with fantastic flavour.
