This delicious Unsmoked Lapsang Souchong Waishan was made of tea leaves harvested from Wuyi Mountain, Fujian, in 2024. It hasn't been dried with smouldering pine fire, so it is mellow, sweet and not smoky like the traditional Lapsangs. It makes a perfect choice for those who wish to try Lapsang Souchong while not having such a strong, smoky taste. It resembles a very rounded black tea or Hong Cha.
